Ritual and personal space ritual: Anxiety

Our task was to find a location 5/7 days of the week and do some kind of ritual and with how much I work and move around I struggled to find a place but I happened to work some extra shifts in the library, working 5/7 days make 5 sticky note doodles. I have dealt with a lot of anxiety and my life with persist and will continue to persist for the rest of my life and one of the things that helps me is not being on my phone so I start to practice drawing until my anxiety subsidies for a the time.

Each sticky note was a different day and throughout the day I would add to it whenever I needed to distract myself or escape. My anxiety is all over the place with somedays being very subsided and others being persistent throughout the day with me possibly having sever anxiety attacks, panic attacks, or my body feeling it such as vomiting. With coping skills like doodling I can learn to catch it early.

Some of the sticky notes had a little meaning like STOP and ACE are acronyms I follow when I have an anxiety attack so I did doodles around these large words. The others are just practice or sketching name logos.

Overall it was an experience that helped find new ways to settle my anxiety when it starts to bubble up throughout the day.
